Availability: Full time / Part time
Contract Type: Self-Employed
Pay Rate: £18.95 - 25.90 per hour/visit (depending on shift and client needs)

We are now seeking compassionate, professional, and reliable self-employed domiciliary care workers to join our network and deliver care to clients across Croydon, Purley & Wallington.
Role Overview
As a Self-Employed Domiciliary Care Worker, you will support clients with a variety of needs, enabling them to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You will work on a self-employed basis, giving you the flexibility to manage your own working hours while providing essential care and companionship.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
Assist with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Support with meals, hydration, and medication prompts (in line with care plans).
Assist with mobility, including the use of mobility aids and safe manual handling.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
Carry out light domestic tasks (e.g. cleaning, laundry, meal preparation) where required.
Record care provided in line with client care plans and reporting procedures.
Maintain professional boundaries, respect client confidentiality, and uphold safeguarding standards at all times.
Requirements (Essential)
Previous experience in domiciliary care, residential care, or a similar role.
Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing quality care.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
Valid Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (on the update service or willingness to obtain).
Valid mandatory training certificate
Ability to travel between clients’ homes (car and full driving licence highly desirable).
Requirements (Desirable)
Health & Social Care qualification (e.g. NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above).
Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience supporting individuals with dementia, disabilities, or complex needs.
Self-Employment Information
This is a self-employed role. Applicants must be aware that:
You will be responsible for your own income tax and National Insurance contributions.
You will need to register with HMRC as self-employed if not already registered.
You will be expected to hold (or be willing to obtain) appropriate insurance such as Public Liability Insurance.
You will have the flexibility to manage your own working hours and accept jobs that suit you.
